About Us

NEXGEN Crushing & Screening (NGC) was established by Daniel Palmer, who has many years’ extensive experience in the earthmoving & material processing industry, commencing as an all-round operator, working his way up to the position of Operations Manager which he held for many years before launching NGC in 2017.  His high attention to detail & both personal and professional integrity, ensure quality results. 

Daniel’s vision for NGC is to provide his clients with comprehensive &integrated crushing solutions, high productivity & environmental waste management while ensuring the safety of his teams which always remains his number one priority. 

Our People

NGC’s head office is located in Albany, WA, however the company works all over the state of Western Australia. Our operations include civil construction, material processing, heavy haulage & earthmoving equipment. We currently employ 40 people. Our team is supported by our customised site inductions & ongoing nationally accredited training programs. We use an online platform via mobile phone TAKE5 🖐️ pre-task daily risk assessment.

Our Equipment

NGC takes enormous pride in supplying late model, well-maintained machines. It allows staff to work efficiently & effectively, minimises down time & helps us to deliver superior outcomes to our clients. All our machinery is compliant with the WA mine site standards.

As well as supplying many of the major mining projects across the state, NGC also supplies equipment to many of the Main Roads WA major projects. Due to NGC’s extensive access to compliant equipment, many of our major projects are run concurrently, without unnecessary delay to our clients.  With any production target achievable, we offer cost-effective solutions & a range of sizes of equipment to meet our client’s needs & offer a reliable service.

All staff are strongly committed to ensuring the health (mental included) & safety of our employees & clients by providing a safe workplace and environment. This commitment is outlined in our Health and Safety Policy which sets out the responsibilities & obligations of NGC management, employees, contractors & clients, in fact anyone who is present on any workplace managed by NGC. 

Our overarching vision and commitment to safety, is to reach the Australian standards ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 as accredited by SAI Global, which demonstrates our commitment to effective health, safety, environmental & quality systems. Our Integrated Management System (IMS) ensures NGC provides a consistently high level of service in a safe, sustainable & environmentally friendly manner.  Our integrated systems are also adaptable to suit our clients, projects & site requirements.

Our quality systems also provide the basis for self-assessment to ensure that we continue to improve and are agile to suit varying clients, projects and site requirements. 

This is communicated this to our workforce by:

  • regularly including occupational health & safety management principles in all organisation planning activities such as toolbox meetings;

  • providing ongoing education & training to all staff so that everyone is aware of their collective & personal obligation & responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment;

  • distributing occupational health and safety information regularly so that is always top of mind; &

  • seeking regular feedback from employees, clients & other stakeholders to constantly update and improve our business and workplace practices.

Your Skills & Experience

Working with our clients & internal staff, the candidate will ensure the operation of the plant is safe & in compliance with various legislations.

  • You will have associated tickets for each position including a valid Blue/White Card & experience in operating applicable machinery & able to provide a list with relevant experience.

  • Be able to provide a current then regular clear drug and alcohol screening.

  • A valid car & HR license

  • Experience in civil construction industry will be an advantage.

  • You will possess pride in the maintenance and presentation of equipment

  • A strong commitment to safety

  • You will have the ability to meet delivery outcomes, supported by accurate record keeping skills.
